Volunteer with Leeds Cares
Due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, recruitment for our regular volunteer roles is currently on hold.
However if you are interested in volunteering in the future, please get in touch with the Volunteering team who would love to hear from you, and can give you more information:
firstname.lastname@example.org or call 0113 539 7020 and select option 5.
There are still plenty of ways you can support Leeds Cares at this time:
- Make sure to follow us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, and spread the word by sharing as many of our posts and stories as possible with your friends and family.
- Or check out our Fundraising pages for some inspiring ways you can raise money for Leeds Cares and Leeds Teaching Hospitals.
Our volunteers are one of our greatest strengths and although things aren’t the same right now, we’re thrilled that you are considering representing Leeds Cares as a volunteer in the near future. We hope to welcome you soon.
Volunteering Opportunity: Donations Volunteer Responder
The Donations Volunteer Responder role is a flexible role at Leeds Cares, allowing you to volunteer when you have the availability.
We are looking to recruit a team of volunteers who will be able to provide ad-hoc, and at times last-minute support receiving, sorting and delivering donations that are gifted to the hospital.
“I enjoy doing charitable work which benefits the Trust, its patients, and staff.”
“My volunteering is a highly enjoyable and rewarding experience, amongst a superb team of full-time staff and other volunteers.”
Ready to make a difference? From cycling and swimming to the Great Wall of China, choose something extra special to get involved in today.
We have a range of different corporate options available and can provide support whether it be a one off event or developing a longer term relationship.
The unexpected arrival of coronavirus is placing continued pressure on our local NHS services in Leeds, following a difficult winter. As the official charity partner of Leeds Teaching Hospitals, Leeds Cares has launched an urgent appeal to support our hard-working NHS staff during these challenging times ahead.
