Graham Willis & Pat’s People

Over £39,000 raised for Rays of Hope through Leeds Cares, in memory of Patricia Willis

Graham Willis set up ‘Pat’s People’ in memory of his wife Patricia, who sadly passed away in 2010, just five weeks after being diagnosed with gall bladder cancer. In September that year, the Willis family decided to support the Hepatobiliary Department at Leeds Teaching Hospitals through the Rays of Hope Trust Fund, operated by Leeds Cares. Rays of Hope was set up in 2003 to fund and support research into cancer conditions of the liver.

As of June 2018, over £39,000 has been raised by Pat’s People. All of the Willis family have got involved, with Graham’s son Stephen and grandson Greg taking part in the Hull Half Marathon! Graham has also put on an annual brass band concert with The Black Dyke Band for the last eight years! The next concert will take place on Saturday 27th April 2019 at Ossett Town Hall – don’t miss out on this fantastic evening of great music and fundraising! Your help and generosity means a great deal to the Willis family and all funds received for Pat’s People through Leeds Cares will go directly to the Rays of Hope
Trust Fund.
