New appointments to Leeds Cares senior team
Leeds Cares has confirmed two new appointments to join their senior team.
Andrew Forsyth will join the charity as Company Secretary whereas Eve Hartrick will take on the role of Director of Finance & Corporate Services.
After a successful thirty-year career in the Royal Navy, Andrew began working in the charity sector in 2005. He held an Executive Director position at the ‘Friends of the Lake District’ landscape charity and then moved to Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust in 2012.
Andrew has spent the last 8 years at Harrogate in the NHS charity sector, as Revalidation Project Manager and then interim Company Secretary.
New Director Eve started her career with accounting firm Deloitte before moving on to KPMG and then JWPCreers LLP in York, to continue her career in practice and specialising in supporting the not for profit sector.
More recently, Eve has spent four years as finance director at York Minster, overseeing the financial strategy and statutory reporting for all elements of the operation of this exempt charity, including the trading subsidiary and separately registered charity.
Chief Executive of Leeds Cares Esther Wakeman said she was excited to be bringing Andrew & Eve to the team: “Leeds Cares is continuing to grow and we have a great future ahead of us. Andrew and Eve will be fantastic additions to the charity and I’m looking forward to working with them. I’d also like to pass on my sincere thanks to our interim posts – Peter Cutler & Keith Haynes – who have steered us through a time of transition.”
Andrew starts at Leeds Cares at the end of June and Eve Hartrick will join the team in mid-July.
