Morrish solicitors joins corporate teams cycling the Official UCI Sportive
West Yorkshire firm have a team of five cyclists taking part
Morrish Solicitors have joined several other companies in Leeds by submitting a team of cyclists to take part in the Official UCI Sportive when the UCI Road World Championships comes to Yorkshire this September. All five riders from the firm will be taking part in the long route, a whopping 149km in aid of Leeds Cares. Partners at the firm Tom Morrish and John Morrison, consultant Tim Harris and long-standing clients Shaun Riordan and Michael Horner have joined together to complete this challenging route.
Morrish Solicitors offer advice on a range of legal services including, but not limited to, employment, personal injury, medical negligence, private client such as family law, wills and probate and property.
With offices across West Yorkshire, Morrish Solicitors regularly support local charities as part of their fundraising and are looking forward to being able to help raise funds for Leeds Cares, helping to support and develop healthcare services in Leeds.
Team captain and partner Tom Morrish said “We’re delighted to enter a team from Morrish Solicitors. We all enjoy getting out on our bikes into the Dales or Pennine hills at the weekend or on summer evenings to stretch our legs and sample the magnificent countryside.
“Much of the route is familiar to us but it will be fun to ride it with hundreds of other cyclists on a supported event. Hopefully the bigger hills will seem easier when in the company of other enthusiastic riders. To be able to play even a small part in a world championship event should be really memorable.”
